We offer a personal, 45 minute evaluation in a private room. We will work with you to meet your physical therapy goals.
We will expertly evaluate you from a biomechanical, and functional approach. We will develop a program specifically tailored to meet your orthopedic, pregnancy related, or pelvic floor concerns. Finally we will teach you to manage your symptoms independently.
Orthopedic treatment will focus on a pelvic alignment, instruction in proper footwear, and manual therapy as needed. We strive to return you to the activities you have been avoiding because of pain or injury!
Pregnancy Program includes and will treat the following:
- Positioning for comfort during sitting, standing, or sleeping activities
- Pelvic Stabilization for sciatica, pubic pain, or low back pain related to your pregnancy

The pelvic floor is a series of muscles at the bottom of the pelvis. It functions as a postural muscle, participates in voiding, sexual, and childbirth functions.
Pelvic Floor Therapy is a customized treatment approach for:

We believe in the power of hands on treatment, with less emphasis on machines and modalities. We do supplement with modalities, such as ultrasound or iontophoresis, when needed.
What does hands on treatment consist of?
Most of our clients receive a combination of specific manual techniques integrated with corrective therapeutic exercises. The manual techniques function to restore flexibility to muscles and joints so that surrounding muscles can be turned on and trained correctly.
The ultimate goal with many of our clients is pain free functional activity. Prior to discharge, we make sure they are educated in upright exercise that reproduces the demands of their desired activity. That activity may be training for a marathon, gardening, picking up grandchildren, swinging a golf club, etc.

Integrative Dry Needling
Integrative dry needling is a highly effective form of Physical Therapy for the treatment of a multitude of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. It is not appropriate for all conditions or pathologies and the use of the technique will be at the discretion of your physical therapist.
What conditions can be treated: Conditions include, but are not limited to neck, back and shoulder pain, arm pain (tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, golfer’s elbow), headaches including migraines and tension-type headaches, jaw pain, buttock pain, and leg pain (sciatica, hamstring strains, calf tightness/spasms).
How does it work? Integrative dry needling is NOT acupuncture(traditional Chinese medicine); it is based on neuro anatomy and modern scientific study of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. A very fine filament needle is inserted through the skin and into the deeper tissues that are considered trigger points to your pain. Dry needling works by causing a microlesion within the pathologically tissue thus breaking up shortened tissues, inhabiting a reflex arc from the nervous system to the tissue, normalizing the inflammatory response, and centrally mediating the pain. This mechanical ad neuromuscular effect provides an environment that enhances the body’s ability to heal which ultimately reduces pain.
What should I do to prepare for the treatment?
- Do not eat 30 minutes before the treatment
- Be well hydrated but empty your bladder prior to treatment
- Wear loose fitting clothes, shorts, or bathing suits for easy access to your painful areas
